    Favorite Amish Never Fail Pie Crust

    4 cups all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 teaspoons salt
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tablespoon granulated sugar
    1 3/4 cups Crisco
    1 tablespoons vinegar
    1/2 cup water

    Blend flour, sugar and salt. Cut in Crisco.
    Mix together egg, water and vinegar. Add to flour. Chill before rolling. This will keep for days in the refrigerator and will be easy to roll.

    I wrap the whole thing in plastic wrap and put in to fridge overnight-
    then you can use it the next day- i get enough for 4 crusts out of this - and you can divide it into 4 pieces and freeze it too- still works great-
    the other thing and this is key...USE BUTTER FLAVORED CRISCO AND CIDER VINEGAR.......
